We live for live music

Over the years we’ve had the privilege of producing live videos for many music artists and bands. Whether its a studio session, a live concert or a music video, we take video production very seriously, and it just so happens we love doing it too.

We captured this incredible Public Service Broadcasting gig on film at Soho’s Electric Ballroom. The band were touring their new album, ‘Every Valley’, and asked us to edit together live videos of some of the album’s standout tracks.

Providing a Public Service

Filming a live concert comes with many different challenges and often requires the ability to think on our feet. When we arrived the the venue had a very small stage (barely big enough for the band). It was also particularly high which can cause issues with the camera on the floor. On top of that, the show was also a sell-out which meant it was difficult to move around the venue once the gig started.

We opted for four individual camera operators and one static (unmanned) camera. One on stage, one in the pit, one stage right and one at the back. The static camera was set up at the sound desk to capture hands clapping and phones taking photos.

We were delighted with the results. Take a look and get in touch if you’d like to capture your next live performance on camera.
